South West Co-ordinator

AFF is currently seeking a Co-ordinator for the South West area (including, but not limited to Blandford Garrison, Bovington Camp and occasional visits to Somerset, Devon and Cornwall). A strong interest in helping Army families and good communication and listening skills are essential for this role.

AFF Co-ordinators are responsible for developing links between families and the AFF. They work closely with the local chain of command and welfare support agencies.

The vacancy is home-based (within the Co-ordinator area), with travel around the Co-ordinator area as required. The post is part-time with flexible hours (10 per week) and paid on an hourly basis.

Although AFF Co-ordinators are supported by their line manager and the whole organisation, they need to be self-starters who are willing to take the initiative to make contacts in their area, be the AFF point of contact for families and be motivated in achieving the best outcomes for their community.
