Why Work for AFF?
AFF employs 50+ people worldwide. Because many of our staff are Army spouses who move on posting, jobs with AFF are available on a regular basis in GB, Germany, Northern Ireland and Cyprus.
Roles within AFF are many and varied, including Co-ordinators and Specialists, administrative staff, communications-related posts and Branch Directors. A number of our positions are home-based and part-time (and for many of our staff fit well with the demands a family can make), with travel to meetings and around the local community. Our office-based positions include those with the Communications Team (at Central Office in Andover), as well as supporting roles based at our Branch Offices in Cyprus, Germany and Northern Ireland.
Could a job with AFF be for you?
- Do you enjoy talking to people? AFF Co-ordinators and Specialists communicate with Army families – in person, on the phone and via Facebook and e-mail – to discuss any issues they are experiencing as a result of Army family life. Co-ordinators and Specialists need to be able to listen carefully and take a broad view of what they hear.
- Do you like helping people? Our Co-ordinators, Specialists and Branch Office staff can often give immediate answers to queries, and regularly signpost families to the right place for the help they need.
- Do you like to make a difference? AFF Co-ordinators, Specialists and Directors attend a variety of meetings, between them providing coverage at a local, Garrison, Division and MoD level. At these meetings, our staff are able to represent families’ views to the people who make the decisions which directly affect their lives.
